MSI offers a complete, end-to-end online monitoring solution for critical
transformers, LTC's, and circuit breakers which includes:
comprehensive assessment of equipment condition including individual
subcomponents such as pumps, fans, and compressors (sources of the most
common types of failures that occur);
analytical tools to automate analysis and reduce engineering time spent on
reviewing data;
a web based platform that provides a process to integrate data
(including other types of condition data such as oil, infrared, power factor
etc.), notify personnel when adverse conditions exist, and disseminate the
right information to the right people at the right time.
MSI's monitors are designed for quick installation (as little as 1 day for
Tstat and 1/2 a day for Cstat) and do not require design engineering or costly
cable runs to install communications in the substation (i.e. patented
powerline communication to standard phone or other Internet connections)
MSI's solutions are cost effective across a wide range of utility assets,
not just the most expensive and most critical transformers and circuit
